It’s Sower’s Cup Week!

The Sower’s Cup – The Lincoln Lagers Premier Home Brew Comp

The tenth edition of our annual regional comp kicks off this week. Early round judging of the more-than-400 brews kicks off on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Turbine Flats. Final rounds take place on Friday and Saturday – Sept. 27 & 28 – at the IBEW Banquet Hall. Awards ceremony and The Sower’s Pup take place late Saturday afternoon and early evening. We’re still looking for a few more volunteers. This is a big event and you don’t want to miss it! Check back here and on the Sower’s Cup tab on this site for more information.

The Sower’s Pup! A Benefit for The Farm: Senior Dog Sanctuary

It will be a fun-filled evening of tasting at the IBEW Local 265. Yes! At the Sower’s Cup (Saturday, Sept. 28, 5-7 p.m.) we’ll be tasting the second bottles and raising some funds for The Farm: Senior Dog Sanctuary. Everyone is invited to join in on the sampling. Your $20 donation includes competition tastings and local brewery sampling. Get your tickets here. In addition, Meta Modern BBQ and Rutabegas will be on site for tasty treats.
