Not again?! Yes. Again. The next monthly meeting of the Lincoln Lagers Homebrew Club will take place via Zoom.

December Meeting Guest Speaker: Join us for our Decembeer meeting as we welcome Michael Tonsmeire. Michael is probably best known as the “Mad Fermentationist” from his blog The Mad Fermentationist and as the author of American Sour Beers. He is also co-founder of Sapwood Cellars in Columbia, Md., where the focus is on barrel aged, mixed fermentations, as well as fresh, hoppy ales. Mike will be joining us to discuss mixed fermentation as well as blending and aging of those beers. Please join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening.

LINCOLN LAGERS CLUB-ONLY IMPERIAL YEAST CHALLENGE… The 2020 Edition of the Sower’s Cup: Our normal club-sponsored comp has been postponed due to the virus, however, the Lagers hosted some virtual judging for this year’s edition. The theme featured beers where the only requirement was to use Imperial Yeast. There are four basic categories: Light, Dark, Hoppy and Weird. We had a total of 27 judged entries in the four groups. LIGHT BEER…

DARK BEER…
1) Jeff Anderson (CoBrewer: Hoptimus Prime) – Doppelbock

HOPPY BEER…
