Club Social on April 17 at Code Beer Co. – May Meeting on May 1 at White Elm Brewing Co.
On Thursday, April 17, join us for our monthly social at Code Beer Co., 200 S. Antelope Parkway, Lincoln, NE. No agenda, just beer. On Thursday, May 1, we’re meeting at White Elm Brewing Company, 720 Van Dorn St., Lincoln, NE 68502. We have a few new members this year, so we thought it would be good to mention that bringing homebrew to share is encouraged and pre-approved for all meetings. For the club socials, however, we want to support our local breweries and taprooms; we do not have permission to consume homebrew at those. For the club socials, we’ll meet at 6 and go until whenever. For the meetings, we’ll kick off the social hour at 6 o’clock and get on with business starting at 7 p.m. Bring some homebrew to share! Sign up on the sheet when you get there! Please reach out with any questions about the meeting or the club. Cheers!
The Big Brew — May 3, 2025 — Code Brewing Co.
Held on the first Saturday in May, the Big Brew for National Homebrew Day is an opportunity to fire up the kettle and raise a glass to the greatest hobby there is—homebrewing! About the Big Brew, in 1988, May 7 was announced before Congress as National Homebrew Day. The American Homebrewers Association created Big Brew as an annual event to celebrate National Homebrew Day around the world. The Lincoln Lagers will meet up for wort from Code Beer Co. on Saturday, May 3. More details to come soon!
Bingo? Bingo!!
Those able to attend the last few meetings were also introduced to something fun we’re doing in 2025: Lincoln Lagers BINGO! We’ll have physical copies available at next meeting. It’s fairly self-explanatory and should hopefully create some opportunities to add new or interesting things to your 2025 homebrewing experiences. Plus, it’s a chance to win gift cards to local breweries! BINGO!!!
