August Meeting at White Elm Brewing Company: Thursday, August 6, 2026

Join us Thursday, August 6, for the monthly meeting at White Elm Brewing Company, 720 Van Dorn St., Lincoln, NE 68502. Social hour at 6 p.m. and meeting at 7 p.m. Bring some brew to share! Yes! You can bring homebrew, and then you can share it! Mark on your calendar the next meeting: , we’ll do it again on Thursday, September 3, also at White Elm.

The August club social will take place on Thursday, August 20, at Yia Yia’s Downtown, 1423 O Street, Lincoln, NE  68508. This place has one of the largest selections of beer – both on tap and in bottles and cans – in the city. Please join us for a slice of pizza and a beer!

2026 Nebraska Shootout

Thank you to everyone who traveled to Omaha to judge this year’s Nebraska Shootou! Thank you to all the sponsors! And a big thank you to the Brauer Unterstutzvungs Verein and Kros Strain for hosting this year! Lincoln Lagers didn’t medal in the five style categories this year, but Nick Langtry won the Best Damn Beer category taking home the Golden Capper and landing the Lincoln Lagers a three-year streak.

Final Club Standings:

• 1st Place: Homebrewers Local 402 (11 pts)
• 2nd Place: BUV (9 pts)
• 3rd Place: OmaHops (5 pts)
