Please join us at The Happy Raven for the Lincoln Lagers August Social event, where we have been graciously invited for a sneak peek of the wonderful beers created by Knee Deep Brewing Company before they are released in the state of Nebraska!

Join us for a sneak-peek at White Elm Brewing, who are nearing completion of their build and almost ready to open to the public!
This month, we’ll be tasting Brewers-In-Arms teams’ Nebraska Pale Ales – each brewed with Nebraska-grown hops including a variety of whole-leaf hops issued to them by the club, provided courtesy of Rhynalds Hops Growers. Bring your taste buds! Get ready to vote for your favorite beer!
The homebrew education topic this month will be 2015 BJCP Styles presented by Chris Evans.
Homebrew policy: Yup, sure! Your brews are welcome.
First, a big ol’ congratulations goes out to AHA Big Brew/Lincoln Lagers Challenge winner Paul Breitkreutz! Paul’s variation of the AHA Bucksnort Brown Ale will be brewed by Blue Blood Brewing Co.
The whole club will be invited to help Paul on brew day, so stay tuned for the date and time.

Watch a mead demonstration – or even make a batch of mead alongside your fellow Lagers! The club will even provide you with yeast & nutrient for your batch.
Jason is organizing a bulk honey buy for anyone who wants in on it, best way to get in touch is to email Jason – or else post in the forum thread so he can get in touch with you.

Big Brew 2012 Status Update:
Get ready for the Big Brew 2012 which will take place on May 5th,2012.
The AHA recipes have been posted here (Bucksnort American Brown Ale) and here (Ardley Northern English Brown Ale), the Lincoln Lagers still need to decide which recipe we will be brewing.
Lincoln Lagers’ Club Entries for the Nebraska Shoot-Out:
Club-round judging will take place on the evening of March 31st, 2012. More details specific to the Lagers’ Club Entries will be posted soon.
