WHEN: Thursday, Mar. 2, 2023, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Six o’clock for socializing, brief business at 7 o’clock, TBD beer education to follow.

THE CLUB SURVEY: The club survey is now up and ready for your input. We want to know what you think about club-related things like activities, meetings, how you get your information about the club and more. It will take you under five minutes to complete. (Yes, we know it sucks to do one of these that seem to take forever. We know you have better things to do.) Please, pour a beer and click right here. Answer the ten questions and tell us what you think. Inquiring minds wanna know. Thank you!
THE TOP HOP COMPETITION on March 11 in Seward is looking for judges! It would be a good unofficial competition for new judges to gain some experience. VP Craig Samek has already volunteered. The comp would like two additional judges. Contact event coordinator Courtney Fegter <courtney@youraam.com> or let us know at the Thursday meeting.
T-SHIRTS: Yes, a 30th-anniversary, Lincoln Lagers T-shirt is in the works. Details and design will be coming soon. In the meantime, we’ll be asking for your shirt size at the meeting and we’ll get one reserved for you. Every member gets one shirt as part of their membership. If you should happen to want more than one, let us know. We’ll work out some sort of righteous deal with ya.
HAVE YOU RENEWED YOUR MEMBERSHIP? Dues for 2023 are currently $25 for the calendar year. If you want to renew online, the 2023 link on the website is up and going. You can click here to go straight to the renewal. (Note: It may say something like “2020 membership,” but we know it’s 2023. Technicians are still working ’round the clock to fix it.)
THE CLUB LIBRARY: We’re working on getting the library accessible again for every member. Soon, we plan to have a page on the website with book titles and authors. Members can check in and reserve a book. If you have a book you’d like to donate, bring it to the meeting.
THIRTY YEARS: The year 2023 will mark the 30th year of the Lincoln Lagers Homebrew Club. In honor of our milestone, we’re working with Boiler Brewing Co. to do a 30th-anniversary collaboration beer. Look for a release party in June.
