Join us Thursday, Jan. 8, for our monthly meeting and annual “Holiday Potluck Dinner” at White Elm Brewing Company, 720 Van Dorn St., Lincoln, NE 68502. Social hour and dinner start at 6 p.m. with the meeting at 7 p.m. Bring some food (a hot dish? potato chips? something made with beer? Yes! Make it with beer!) and bring some beer to share. Cheers!

CLUB OFFICER ELECTIONS: The time has come to vote for your 2026 Lincoln Lager officers! Emails have been sent out with a link to the ballot. Voting will end on Wednesday, January 7, at 11:59 p.m. Reach out if you do not see the email to vote!

BJCP STUDY GROUP: Interested in joining a BJCP Study Group? Several people have put their hats in the ring. If you’re interested in working toward BJCP Certification, reach out to Scott Levander for details at scott.levander@gmail.com.

BINGO: Yeah, you remember your 2025 Bingo cards, right? Finish filling it out and bring it to the January meeting. You may be eligible for a prize!

CLUB SOCIAL IDEAS: We’ve planned ahead with locations for several months and will continue to chose great local breweries and taprooms for our club social every month. Do you have a brewery or taproom recommendation? Let us know!

2026 SHOOTOUT: This comp is among the Nebraska homebrew clubs and will take place on Saturday, July 25, at the German American Society in Omaha. The year’s event will be sponsored by the BUV Homebrew Club. Styles for the event are listed on the website and in January’s club Brewsletter.
